Wood-Eating Ants

An important factor in the infestation of a house is its proximity to a forest and generally to places where there are nests of wood-eating ants, another important factor is the humidity of the wood, as these insects want wood with a relative humidity of more than 15%.

These insects always come from outside, in many ways such as from wiring, from tree branches in contact with the roof, from firewood

Wood -eating ants create nests at a distance of up to 90 meters from the parent.

The critical factor in dealing with wood-eating ants is to find their nest. Once this is achieved, we use insecticide powder and with the application method we have very good results

Outside the house, preventive spraying can be carried out with an insecticide with a residual effect on possible entrance gates of these insects

For large infestations we can use phosphine , as long as this is possible for safety reasons.
